Anne Arundel Medical Center (now Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center, LHAAMC) general visitor hours are from 12 pm to 8 pm[1]. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) visiting hours are from 8 am to 8 pm, with up to two family members or support persons per day allowed in the ICU[3]. Clergy may visit at any time and do not count toward visitor limits[1]. At the hospital’s discretion and as needed for specific circumstances (acute life-threatening events or end-of-life care), up to two visitors may be present 24/7[3][6].
Visitors will be screened upon entry and must:
- Wear a mask at all times while in the hospital (even if vaccinated)
- Maintain social distancing
- Wash or sanitize their hands regularly
One to two visitors, depending on the patient’s situation, are generally permitted. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and count as a visitor. Family members, as identified by the patient, can be present 24 hours a day according to patient preference, when balanced with safety and privacy needs[7].
These guidelines may change, so visitors are advised to check for the latest policies before visiting.
