Witrand Hospital in Potchefstroom has specific visiting hours depending on the ward and the day of the week[2]:

Monday to Friday
- Intellectually Disabled wards: 10:00 – 16:00
- Psychiatric wards: 15:30 – 16:30 / 18:00 – 18:45
- Rehabilitation wards: 15:30 – 16:30 / 19:00 – 20:00

- Intellectually Disabled wards: 10:00 – 16:00 / 19:00 – 20:00
- Psychiatric wards: 15:30 – 16:30 / 18:00 – 18:45
- Rehabilitation wards: 15:30 – 16:30 / 19:00 – 20:00
All patients who have been taken out for day leave should be brought back before 16:00. No visitors are allowed after 20:00 in the Intellectually Disabled and Rehab wards, and no visitors are allowed after 19:00 in the Psychiatric Unit[2].
