Roswell Park Visiting Hours

Visiting hours at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Patients are asked to have no more than two visitors at a time. Each patient may designate up to four visitors for the duration of their hospital stay. All inpatient visitors must register at the lobby information desk and receive a photo identification sticker to wear during their visit. Exceptions to these rules may be approved by the nurse manager[5].

Special units, such as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Intermediate Care Unit, and Pediatric Unit, have additional criteria for visitors. For example, ICU visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and specific instructions may apply depending on the unit. On the pediatric unit, a parent or designated guardian may stay with the patient at all times[1][5].

Outpatients may bring up to two support people to an appointment, except in the Chemotherapy/Infusion Clinic, where only one support person is allowed due to limited space[5].

All visitors are expected to follow the Roswell Park Patient and Visitor Code of Conduct, which includes treating everyone with respect and adhering to safety and security policies[4].
