The general visiting hours at Haywood Regional Medical Center are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for all floors[1]. Quiet time is observed daily from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are asked to limit to two per patient, and children under 12 (with adult supervision) can visit unless there’s a health hazard to the child. Small children and babies should remain at home or in the waiting room with a supervising adult.
Anyone with a cold, sore throat, fever, or communicable illness should not visit. Visits should be brief and not disturb other patients. Masking is typically optional but may be required in certain patient care areas for infection control[1]. Please check with staff for the latest policy, as hours and rules are subject to change due to health conditions in the community, such as flu outbreaks[1].
One overnight visitor is allowed for most patients[1].
