Southend Hospital Visiting Hours

Visiting hours at Southend University Hospital are generally from 11am to 8pm across most wards, including Acute Medical Receiving Unit (AMRU), Cardiology, MSK and Elective, Surgical, and Trauma.^[2]

There are some exceptions:

• The Acute Medicine department in the Cherry Tree Wing allows visitors between 8am and 8:30pm.^[2]

It is recommended to check with the specific ward before visiting as there may be operational changes or restrictions in place to protect patients.^[7]
