Cormed Hospital Visiting Hours

Hospital groupLast verified 13 September 2026

Cormed visiting hours are published by Cormed Vanderbijlpark Private Hospital, also known as Cormed Clinic. Cormed is not a multi-hospital group: its official website describes one private hospital in Vanderbijlpark. General ward visiting is 14:00–15:00 and 18:30–19:30, with separate rules for ICU and the maternity ward. Other private hospitals are in our visiting hours directory.

Visiting Cormed Hospital? Check the ward times below, then phone the hospital on 016 981 8080 to confirm before you travel, especially for ICU or maternity.

Find a Cormed Hospital

There is one Cormed hospital. The official website, cormed.co.za, names it Cormed Vanderbijlpark Private Hospital and lists its address as Pasteur Boulevard, C.W.1, Vanderbijlpark, in the Vaal Triangle area of Gauteng. Its email addresses use the cormedclinic.co.za domain, and laboratory and medical scheme directories list it as Cormed Clinic. If you are looking for a different hospital in the area, use the search below.

The hospital does not publish a visitor limit or age rule for the general ward. If you plan to bring children or visit in a group, ask the ward first.

ICU, Maternity & Special Unit Visits

ICU and high care

Cormed lists an ICU and high care unit. ICU visiting has a shorter afternoon slot than the general ward, 14:30–15:00, plus the same evening slot of 18:30–19:30. Only two visitors are allowed per bed, and children under 12 may not visit. The website does not list separate high care times, so confirm with the unit. For what to expect in intensive care generally, see our ICU visiting hours guide.

Maternity ward

Fathers may stay in the maternity ward from 06:00 until 21:00. All other visitors are limited to 18:30–19:30, with two visitors per bed. Children under 12 are not allowed, except the patient’s own children. No separate neonatal or labour ward rules are published; ask the maternity ward if your baby needs special care. Our maternity ward visiting guide has general advice.

Weekend & Public Holiday Visiting

Cormed’s published visiting hours do not distinguish between weekdays, weekends and public holidays, and there is no statement that times change on those days. Phone the hospital before a weekend or public holiday visit to confirm. On-site services keep their own operating hours (these are not visiting hours): the website lists the TJ Roots/Cor Cafe as open 09:00–17:00 on weekends and public holidays. See our weekend hospital visiting hours hub for other hospitals.
