Lenmed Hospital Visiting Hours
Hospital groupLast verified 13 September 2026
Lenmed visiting hours are set hospital by hospital, not as one group-wide timetable. Lenmed’s patient and visitor handbook asks visitors to follow each unit’s visiting times and visitor limits, and each Lenmed hospital page lists its own times. Choose your hospital below, check its published schedule, and use the wider visiting hours directory for other private groups.
Choose a Lenmed hospital to see facility-specific visiting information. Times differ between Lenmed hospitals and between wards, so always check the page for the exact facility you are visiting.

General Visitor Policy
Lenmed’s patient and visitor handbook sets group-wide expectations rather than times: follow each unit’s visiting times and limits on number and age of visitors; each unit may further limit visitor numbers based on patients’ needs; visiting children must be accompanied by an adult; and no children under 12 may visit. Individual hospital pages then publish their own visiting hours at Lenmed hospital level:

Visitor Rules
Lenmed’s patient and visitor handbook says visitors are expected to:
- stay away if they are sick, and wash hands before and after visiting
- comply with infection control practices, including any isolation measures
- keep noise to a minimum and follow safety and security procedures
- not bring children under 12, and keep any visiting children with an adult
- smoke only in designated areas and not take photos or video without patient and hospital authorisation
- not arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol, carry weapons, or use abusive, threatening or offensive language
The handbook states that security measures, including visitor restriction, will be taken in response to unacceptable behaviour.
How to Confirm Current Visiting Hours
- Open the hospital’s own page on lenmed.co.za and check the visiting hours section.
- Phone the hospital’s main number above and ask for the ward, especially for ICU, high care, NICU, maternity or paediatrics.
- Ask the ward whether any visitor limits, isolation measures or procedures apply to your patient on the day.
Check before you travel: choose a Lenmed hospital to see facility-specific visiting information, and confirm by phone if you are visiting a special unit.
